She's the hard-core, no excuses, tough-girl trainer that we all know and love. Watching her on NBC's Biggest Loser, we'd assume she might adopt the same ALL IN approach to dieting that she does to working out. But WAIT... what's this? Jillian says we shouldn't give up carbs and fat??
Yep. Seems the TV trainer was chatting with Extra this week, and was extolling the upsides to moderation. We knew she'd be championing healthy servings of lean protein, but Jillian also encouraged keeping healthy fats in your diet and sticking with some carbs too. Sensible non-starchy carbs no doubt.
Other tips from the Michael's playbook? Journaling ALL the food you eat. Of course, it wouldn't be advice from Jillian if it didn't include a kick in the arse to get off the couch and move. It's all about calories in vs. calories out. She calls it "simple math". That was never our strong subject... maybe THAT's why the skinny jeans got so snug this summer?
