WEEK 17

I'm going to start with the Weigh-In...251 (Loss of 1.2 pounds)  I KNOW all the BIRTHDAY NIBBLES here and there didn't help.  They are over (Thank Goodness).   I have been TWEETING with @DoctorRamani from the TV Show Thintervention with Jackie Warner.  I was giving her a hard time about the 1 and 2 pound weight losses of the contestants on the show.  She REMINDED me that , although it doesn't make for "Great Weight-Loss TV", their weight losses are at a Healthy Rate.  You know what, She's RIGHT!!!!  I am going to FINE TUNE my #BodyBugg a little and Let the NUMBERS get me to ONEderland... Not by next week!!  LOL!!!  But, soon.. ;-)

I have started my OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL training for the 2011 Disney Half Marathon!!!!!  In other words I, with the help of @DareToBecome have put together a Training program to get me, Monica, Jessica, and Luke to the finish line.  Denise will be running the Full Marathon!!! (God Bless her) LOL!!  We ALL have our Body Buggs (GoWearFits) and we are going to follow the plan (TO THE LETTER) so that we can lose as much weight as possible before the race!!!  When I HIT MY TARGETS on the Body Bugg... I LOSE....PERIOD!!!
Monica, Jessica, Teresa, and I are also forming a "Florida" Team for @FitBottomedGirl 's 8 week Challenge. Should be very FUN and EDUCATIONAL!!! ;-)

I will be heading to Sea World for my "Fun In The Sun" This weekend.  I WILL HIT ALL MY TARGETS!!!

Kimmie Week 17

This week has been challenging.  I don't know what it is, I had such a strong August. I was focused and determined.  I made a pact with a very good friend to workout everyday in August and it really helped to keep my on task.  The first 2 weeks of September I felt like I was recovering and then the last 2 weeks I just seemed to lose my steam.  I wasn't recording my food like I should, I was allowing other things to get in way of my workouts.  Basically, long and short my wellness plan fell on the back burner.  I allowed other things to come first and I have learned that in order for me to reach my goals I need to keep "ME"  on the front burner.  I tanked this past weekend.  I slept too late resulting in less than great workouts, I didn't eat often enough and when I did it wasn't great and I didn't record.  Monday I woke up with a new attitude.  I planned my meals for the week and I mapped out my workouts. I am ready for whatever life throws at me this week!

Lets help motivate each other!

Mo YOU ARE ON FIRE!!! Your team is unstopable and it is the coolest thing to watch! Reality T.V. does give us the sense that we have to lose 5 or more pounds a week and that is craziness! 1-2 pounds a week is a healthy weight to lose and it will stay off. In the long run those add up to big numbers :) Let's all move ahead this week with a NEW ATTITUDE!
Kimmie you have been doing great don't let a week or two bring you down. It is unrealistic to think that you will be perfect week after week. You have proven that you can do it and you are so just keep it up and ride the ride!

We all need a plan, if you have a plan of what to eat and when to move you just follow the plan along with anything else in your day. If you think you will fit it in when you have time, it seems to slip through the cracks. We have all had learning curves like this. I struggle the most after a vacation, you come home and need to shop to make sure you have fruits, veggies and good meals for the week. The hour and a half or so of planning and shopping is totally worth it.
